My timeshared N64 at a friend's house. While I only wanted the console for the article, my friend had long dreamed of owning a 64DD. So, we bought a complete (and pricey) Japanese set together to split the cost. I then installed the N64RGB mod so we could hook it up to a modern TV. The result is a nice entertainment setup (and a great conversation piece!).
I have to say, this article may be the longest one I've ever written, but hopefully you found it a nice read!
I'll probably take the following days to tidy up some things on the website instead of starting to write the next article.
